Lisa Taylor grew up in Irondale, Mo, and graduated from West County High School. She later graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and master’s degree in special education. Although now retired, she has worked in various education roles during her career as a teacher, including 14 years at Blair Oaks Elementary & Middle School.

Lisa spends most of her free time with her 6 nephews, 2 nieces, and her adorable Bichon dog, Truman, who loves to go for car rides to showings. (He waits in the car.) Lisa also enjoys singing in the choir at Concord Baptist Church, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs, and baking cupcakes. Her goal is to learn to make beautiful, icing flowers using her Russian ball tip.
